About OUR LEGION
more than a building...
it’s a place of remembrance, service, and community connection.
For generations, our Branch has stood as a gathering place where veterans, families, and community members come together to honour those who served and to support one another.
Branch 034 has deep roots in Pouce Coupe and the surrounding Peace Region.
Founded in the years following the world wars, the Legion was established as a place where veterans could find camaraderie, support, and a shared sense of purpose after their service. Over time, it has grown into a cornerstone of the community—welcoming not only veterans but all those who believe in the importance of remembrance and service.

Our Purpose
At the heart of everything we do are three guiding principles:
Support and Advocacy for Veterans: Devoted to assisting and advocating for the men and women who served Canada, ensuring they and their families receive proper care, benefits, and support.
Remembrance: Committed to ensuring Canadians never forget the sacrifices of veterans from all conflicts. This includes organizing Remembrance Day ceremonies and the annual Poppy Campaign.
Engaging Communities Through Service: Acting as a local cornerstone across the country by providing essential volunteer programs and support to seniors, youth, and those in need.
Our Values
Our core values reflect the people behind the brand: our Members. When someone walks through the doors of a Branch, we want them to feel these values in every interaction.
Service, Integrity, Respect, Loyalty, and Teamwork
Looking Ahead
