Rental Process

Booking your event is simple:

1. Submit an Application Form
2. Confirm your event details (date, time, guest count, requirements)
3. Provide deposit and signed agreement
4. Finalize details at least 10 days prior to your event

Bookings are first-come, first-served.

To ensure a smooth and successful event, please plan for:

• Security plan (may require hired security depending on event)
• Catering (we can provide a list of suggested caterers)
• Insurance (special event insurance required; providers can be recommended)

Set-up & Decorations

• Setup options available (Legion or self-setup)
• No staples, nails, or adhesives on walls
• No glitter, confetti, sparklers, or open flames
• Battery-operated candles only

Clean-up

• Hosts are responsible for cleanup following the event
• Additional cleaning fees may apply if required

• All alcohol must be purchased through the Legion
• No outside alcohol permitted
• Bar options: cash bar or open bar (15% service fee)
• Last Call: 12:30 AM; all patrons must vacate by 1:00 AM. The bar closes at 12:45 AM.
• ID Requirement: Two pieces of ID for guests appearing 25 and under.
• Safe Transport: Hosts are responsible for guests’ safe transportation. A list of transport companies can be provided.

Smoking and Vaping

• Prohibited indoors. Violators will be asked to leave. Smoking is only permitted within designated smoking areas.

Music and Entertainment

• Volume and Containment: Subject to Legion staff discretion.
• Outside Equipment: Hosts assume all liability for equipment damage or loss.

Payment Terms

• Payment Due: Full payment is required within 14 days after the event.

Accepted Forms of Payment: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), Cash, Business Cheque, Personal Cheque (NSF cheques incur a $50 charge).

• Events must align with Legion values and policies
• The Legion reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings that do not comply

• A deposit is required to secure your booking
• Deposit is refundable pending inspection after the event

Cancellation Fees:

• 30–14 days prior: 25% of rental fee
• 13–2 days prior: 50% of rental fee
• Within 48 hours: 100% of rental fee
